What We Believe About Therapy
Fun!
The more engaged that children can be in the sessions, the better the outcome will be! One of the most effective ways to do this is to make sure children are enjoying the time with our therapists! We work hard to layer in just the right amount of challenge in therapeutic activities to provide opportunities for growth and skill development.
Individualized
No child is identical to another and we don’t believe therapy sessions should be either! Each session is carefully planned to meet children’s needs, goals, and interests. These goals are collaboratively created and set after reviewing evaluation results with families.
Repeatable
While we provide services during the week, practice everyday is essential to progress. We’re committed to spending time in each session to answer caregiver questions, provide demonstrations, and give examples of daily applications.
Evidenced Based
We want to always offer the best practices and most current recommendations for you and your family! Each year, we participate in continuing educational courses, ethics training, statewide provider meetings, online discussion boards and blogs, and collaborate with with other therapists and professionals. We’re also active members of our state and national organizations!
