Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists specialize in ensuring individuals are able to participate in meaningful activities and age-appropriate tasks each day. In the pediatric world, daily activities can be sleeping, eating, playing, getting dressed, self-care tasks, and participating in school and social events. Goals and treatment plans are designed to help maximize children’s development and engagement and minimize potential for delays. Occupational therapy requires a very hands on, personalized treatment approach that is completed collaboratively with caregivers.
